Empowering Educators to Inspire Future Careers
STEAM Forward in a few words...
STEAM Forward aims at enhancing STEM/STEAM education and career guidance. It will equip educators with modern teaching methods, digital skills, and resources to support students, particularly girls and underrepresented groups, in developing future-ready competencies. Through a MOOC Platform, teacher resources, capacity building, and pilot programs, STEAM Forward will bridge the gap between education and labor market needs, ensuring a lasting impact on STEM/STEAM education and career development.
STEAM Forward sets the following key objectives:
Igniting a passion for STEAM
Through interdisciplinary teaching and learning, we will inspire students to explore the interconnectedness of STEAM disciplines, increasing their awareness of career opportunities and future skills needs.
Empowering Educators as Career Guides
We will train and equip teachers with digital tools, methodologies, and career guidance strategies, ensuring that students receive structured support in navigating STEAM career paths.
Building a Sustainable Network
We will establish a community of STEAM educators and career professionals to promote best practices, share knowledge, and ensure long-term impact beyond the project’s lifespan.
Championing Gender Equality in STEAM
We will challenge gender biases by showcasing female role models, mentorship programs, and targeted initiatives to encourage girls’ participation in STEM fields.
